MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Three people escaped an early morning house fire in Missoula by jumping out a bedroom window.
Assistant Missoula Fire Chief Jeff Brandt says the fire was reported shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday. Responding firefighters found the house fully involved, with flames blowing out the front and sides of the house.
Officials say the residents had escaped out a window and were uninjured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. An initial estimate puts damages at over $100,000.
