LOS ANGELES (AP) — Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw are starting to rub off on Nelly.
His manager, J. Erving, tells Billboard Nelly is working on a country EP. It will be called “Heartland” but Erving did not give a release date.
Erving says Nelly is one of the first hip-hop acts to jump into country music in an authentic way, so Nelly has an opportunity to grow his fan base.
Nelly collaborated with McGraw on the song “Over and Over” and with Florida Georgia Line on “Cruise.”
